First you would have to do 2x3 which is 6 then 3x2 which is also six so the first answer is 66. After you do 2x2 which is 4 and then 2x3 which is 6 so then you get 64. You add both 66+64 and the answer is 130.

    1. To multiply 32 by 23, set them up as shown by arranging the two numbers in columns.

    2. work out 3 * 32. The smaller figures in green are the tens figures carried over. Working from right to left:

    3 * 2 = 6

    3 * 3 = 9

    3. Lastly, work out 20 * 32. This can be written as 2 * 32 * 10.

Because we are multiplying by 10, we place 1 zero to the right and then work out 2 * 32.

    2 * 2 = 4

    2 * 3 = 6

    4. Finally the 2 rows are added together starting at the right. The smaller figures in green are the tens figures carried over.

    0 + 6 = 6

    4 + 9 = 13

Put the 3 in the appropriate column and carry the 1.

    6 + 1 (carried) = 7

I recommend just using a calculator.
