    When either of the three dimension is doubled, the volume is doubled.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Volume of the box = L x B x H

    L = length = 9 in

    B = Breadth = 3 in

    H = Height = 5 in

    Hence volume of box initially = 9 x 3 x 5 = 135 in³

    If the volume of the box is to be double, a double value of either the breadth or length or height will ensure so

    Hence Volume of new box when breadth is doubled = 9 x 6 x 5 = 270 in³

    Hence Volume of new box when length is doubled = 18 x 3 x 5 = 270 in³

    Hence Volume of new box when height is doubled = 9 x 3 x 10 = 270 in³
