The number of doctors that used brand X is 1,200

I got this number by getting the percentage of doctors using brand x from the total number of doctors surveyed. The problem states that 3 doctors out of 5 uses brand X.

    3 / 5 = 0.60 or 60% of the total number of doctors surveyed uses brand X.

Out of the 2000 doctors surveyed, 60% of the population is equivalent to 1,200 doctors.

    2000 * 60% = 1200
