When harry recipe on a 3" x 5" index card that he wants to enlarge to 15 inches long how wide will the enlargement be?

    Hi there.

    3x = 15 (length)

    x = 5

    Since we're multiplying the length by 5, we also multiply the width by 5.

    5 • 5 = 25

    The length of the enlargement will be 5".
