If x=-2 is a solution of the equation x^2+bx+6=0 what is the value of b

    u know x = - 2

    x²+bx+6=0

    (-2) ²+b (-2) + 6 = 0

    4 - 2b + 6 = 0

    -2b + 6+4 = 0

    -2 b = - 10

    b = - 10/-2

    b = 5
