The price of a pair of jeans at a store increased by 25% to $40. Find the price of the pair of jeans before the increase

    First you gotta look for the value of the 25% in the 40$ So it will be

    25&=0.25

    0.25x40=10

    Now all you gotta do it’s

    40-10=30

    You subtract becaus le they ask you to find the price before it was increased so that why you gotta subrtract it
