So, I later did the inverse operation of subtracting 18 I added 18 to both sides getting me 3x=26. Then, I did the inverse operation of multiplying by 3 I divided by to both sides I got x=26/3 because x couldn't be a whole number but instead a mixed or an improper but I used improper because the questions is telling me to show an improper fraction as an answer so 26/3 is the answer.
