    1st step: multiply 2 x 2 (which = 4)

    2nd step: add 3 + 4 (which equals 7)

Well, when first doing the first step, we would do (pemdas).

Which then. we do (parenthesis) first.

And then, sense they is a (e) in the word (pemdas), we would then find (exponents) in the equation.

But if there is not exponents, then we would move on to the next letter.

    (m) = multiply.

We would then see if we would have to multiply.

If not, we move on to the next letter.

    (d) = divide.

We are able to divide. 3 + 4
