How do I solve this 2 (x-4) + 2x=-6x-2

Distribute
2x-8+2x=-6x-2
Combine like terms
4x-8=-6x-2
Add 6x to both sides
10x-8=-2
Add 8 to both sides
10x=6
Divide both sides by 10
x=3/5
