Two angles form a linear pair. The measure of one angle is twice the measure of the other angle. Find the measure of each angle.

    Smaller angle = 60°

    larger angle = 120°

    equation

    2x + x = 180°

    3x = 180°

    x = 60°

    2x = 2 * 60 = 120°

    60° + 120° = 180°
