If the hypotenuse of a right triangle has length 9 feet and one of the other sides has length 2 feet, what is the length of the remaining side, in feet?

    A square + B square = C square

    C is the hypotenuse so 9 squared = 81

    A can be 2 squared=4

    4+B squared=81

    -4 - 4

    77 and 77 squared is apprx. 8.8
