Set the functions equal and solve for x.

    ... f (x) = g (x)

    ... (4/3) x - 4 = (1/6) x + 3

    ... x (4/3 - 1/6) = 7

    ... (7/6) x = 7

    ... x = 6

    The only x-value for which f (x) = g (x) is x=6.
