    (f + g) (x) = 3x² + 2x - 1 and g (x) = 2x - 2

    This is the sum of 2 functions f (x) + g (x), that means:

    f (x) + g (x) = f (x) + 2x-2 = 3x² + 2x - 1

    So f (x) = 3x² + 2x - 1 - g (x) or f (x) = 3x² + 2x - 1 - (2x-2)

    f (x) = 3x² + 2x - 1 - 2x + 2

    f (x) = 3x² + 1
