5x+6y+2*y+4x-2y what is the answer

    The answer will be 9x + 5y + 2. You just have to combine like terms

    First add up what is common.

    5x + 4x = 9x

    6y + 2y + (-2y) = 6y

    and so you get 9x + 6y
