How can you identify a dependent or inconsistent system by looking at an augmented matrix in reduced row-echelon form?

Can you give me some tips?

    if the system generates values for the x1 and x2 to xn then the system is inconsistent. For example, After reducing it the system given answer something like 0=3 which is wrong and impossible. So, the system is inconsistent.
