    The first thing you should do is add up the total cost of each of the bonuses.

    We have then:

    101 1/4 + 8 = 109 1/4

    Equivalently:

    109.25

    Then, since 5 bonds were purchased, then the cost of all the bonds is:

    (5) * (109.25) = 546.25
