The surface area of a rectangular prism is 442 square feet. The length is 11 feet, and the height is 8 feet. What is the width of the prism?

    V=xyz

    z=V / (xy) and in this case:

    z=442 / (11*8)

    z=442/88 ft

    z≈5.02 ft (to nearest hundredth of a foot)
