    C=carlo=13

    x=sister

    carlos (13) is (=) 5 years older (5+) twice sisters age (2 times x)

    13=5+2x

    mius 5 both sides

    13-5=5-5+2x

    8=0+2x

    8=2x

    divide both sides by 2

    4=x

    2x+5=13

    x=4
