The height of a rectangle, in which a = 10x^2 ft^2 base is 2x ft

    Area of a rectangle = base x height

    A = 10x² ft²

    base = 2x ft

    10x² = (2x) * (height)

    divide both sides by 2x

    5x = height

    The height of the rectangle is 5x feet.
