The ratio of corresponding sides of two similar triangles is2:3. The sides of the smaller triangle are 3m, 6m, and 8m. Findthe side lengths of the large triangle.

    2/3 = 3/x

    3*3 = 2x

    9 = 2x

    The first side of the other triangle is 4.5m.

    2/3 = 6/y

    3*6 = 2y

    18 = 2y

    The second side is 9m.

    2/3 = 8/z

    8*3 = 2z

    24 = 2z

    The last side is 12m.

    The bigger triangle has the measurements 4.5m, 9m, and 12m.
