    The two angles are 70° and 110°

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let the two angles be x and y be two angles

    As they are supplement angles

    x+y=180- - (A)

    The angle measures 40° more than the measure of its supplement angle

    Hence

    x=y+40

    x-y=0 - - (B)

    adding A and B

    2x=220

    Dividing both sides by 2 we get

    x=110

    Hence putting this value in (A)

    110+y=180

    y=180-110

    y=70
