How do you solve for sin (5pi/3) without a calculator? Show your solution.

    Convert the radian value of 5pi/3 into degrees using the equation

    rad * 180/pi

    this will give you a value of 300 degrees

    therefore sin (5pi/3) = sin (300) = - sin (60) = sqrt 3/2
