    - because A) just doesn't make sense at all.

    C) 4x can't factor into 6

    D) - 4 times 4x would make a - 16x

    The answer would be 4x (x + 4) because the gcf of 4x^2 + 16x is 4x and if you divide by the gcf you get 4x (x+4)
