If f (x) = 4^x-1+6 and g (x) = 2x-5, what is (f-g) (x) ?

A. (f-g) (x) = 4^x-1-2x-1

B. (f-g) (x) = 4^x-1-2x+11

C. (f-g) (x) = 4^x-1-2x-11

D. (f-g) (x) = 4^x-1-2x+1

    I believe the answer is

    B. (f-g) (x) = 4^x-1-2x+11

    (f-g) (x) = (4^x-1+6) - (2x-5)

    apply like terms while retaining order of operations

    6 - (-5) = 11

    4^x - 1 - 2x + 11

    I'm fairly certain, I just did this section, but just in case, sorry!
