Some pupils attended a camp. 20 of them were girls. After 12 girls and 4 boys left the camp, the number of boys was 3/4 of the number of girls. How many boys were at the camp at first?

    The number of boys that left the camp doesn't actually matter. since 12 girls left the camp, 8 are left and now you have to find 3/4 of 8 which is 6. since 4 boys left camp you add that to 6 which means your answer is 10 tell me if you have any questions
