A rectangle has an area of 40 square units. The length is 6 more than the width. find the dimensions of the rectangle

    First find all the numbers that can multiply to be 40. That is 1,2,4,5,8,10,20,40. The two numbers that multiply together and equal forty and yet have a difference of six is your answer. That being said, 4 is your width and 10 is your length
