A rational number is any number that is or can be turned into a fraction ... it includes both negative and positive numbers.

an integer is a whole number ... both negative and positive

a whole number ... well ... its a whole number but only a positive one

    -15/2 = - 7 1/2 ... this is not a whole number

so ur answer is : rational number
