The different between twice a number and a number that is 5 more than it is 3.

1) 2n-n+5=3.

2) n - (2n+5) = 3.

3) n+5-2n=3.

4) 2n - (n+5) = 3

    It would be number 4 because it would be the difference between a number that is multiplied by two and the number with the addition of 5 all equal to 3.
