Which function has two x-intercepts, one at (0,0) and one at (4,0) ?

Of (x) = x (x - 4)

O f (x) = x (x + 4)

O f (x) = (x - 4) (x-4)

    1st equation

    Step-by-step explanation:

you can just figure this out because when y = 0, that is where the x intercepts are.

so that means that when y = 0, one of the parentheses has to equal to 0 as well, you can only get 0 in this situation when you multiply by 0.

so either x = 0, or some parentheses has to equal to 0.

    in the 1 equation when x=0, then y=0, (0,0)

    when x = 4, then y = 0, (4,0)

    problem solved!
