    Hello!

    The formula for percentage increase is:

    Percent Increase = { (New Value - Old Value) / Old Value * 100}

    Substitute = { (566.60 - 550) / 550 * 100]

    Solve:

    566.60 - 550 = 16.6

    16.6 / 550 = 0.0301818182

    0.0301818182 * 100 = 3.0181818182

    You may round that to 3.1%

    So, Mr. Dawkins' salary increased by about 3.1%
