    (1/6) / (3/7) = x / 1 ... 1/6 distance to 3/7 hr = x distance to 1 hr

    cross multiply

    (3/7) (x) = (1/6) (1)

    3/7x = 1/6

    x = (1/6) / (3/7)

    x = 1/6 * 7/3

    x = 7/18 < = = = 7/18 of the distance in 1 hr
