Nakita plans to buy tickets for her family to attend the annual dance recital. if she needs to purchase (x + 5) tickets which cost (5x - 3) dollars each, what is the total cost of the tickets in terms of x?

    The number of tickets needed to be purchased = (x+5)

    The amount 1 ticket costs = (5x-3)

    Thus,

    The total cost of the tickets = (x+5) * (5x-3) = 5x² - 3x + 25x - 15 = 5x² + 22x - 15
