One serving of a certain brand of yogurt contains 12 g of fat. The low-fat version contains 45.25% less fat per serving. How many grams of fat does one serving the low - fat yogurt contain?

    Hello there! There is 45.25% less fat in the low-fat version that the other version. Percents are parts of 100. 100 - 45.25 is 54.75, which means there is still 54.75% of fat of the original. To find out the amount of fat per serving, all you have to do is multiply the original amount per serving (12) by the percent in decimal form (0.5475). 12 * 0.5475 is 6.57. There are 6.57 grams of fat in the low-fat yogurt.
