How do I find the depth of a coffee cup?

I think you can do it by putting water in it then measureing it unless you are talking about something else but this is what I did when I tried to do depth in a cup and i don't see how a mug would be any different

do you have the height of the cup? or the circumfrence? or anything like an equation?
