Company Sell-It knows that the amount of product it sells depends on the price of the product and how much each store charges for the product. The company uses the formula p = 0.5q 30, where p is the price of the product and q is the quantity that will sell, to determine the amount of product to ship to a store. Describe how the company would use this formula to determine the quantities to ship to its three stores knowing that each store charges a different price.

    p - 30 = 0.5q

    2 (p - 30) = q
