All numbers that are not rational are irrational. Irrational is written as a decimal, and not as a fraction. It doesn't have no ending numbers, so like it can have as many as possible. Rational numbers are written as a ratio, so it can be written as a fraction. Both the numerator and the denominator are whole numbers.
