    Find the area

    A = l*w

    A = (6 1/2) * (5 3/4)

    6 1/2 = (2*6+1) / 2 = 13/2

    5 3/4 = (4*5+3) / 4 = 23/4

    A = 13/2 * 23/4

    299/8

    37 3/8

    37 3/8 ft^2

    Answer: 37 3/8 ft^2
