    Perimeter: 6x+8

    Area: 2x²+8x

    Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter - the sum of all sides

    So, you do x+4+x+4+2x+2x

    Simplify that to - 2x+2x+2x+8

And also simplify that to - 6x+8

    Area - length*width

    So, it's (x+4) * 2x

    which is 2x²+8x
