A theater can sell 600 tickets for each performance. for one performance, 80% of the tickets were sold. For another performance, 91% of the tickets were sold. What was the total number of tickets sold for both performances?

    The theater sold a total of 1,026 tickets. You have to find 80% of 600 and 91% of 600. 91% x 600 = 546 and 80% x 600 = 480. You add the two numbers to get the total.
