    Substitute for "y" and solve for "x":-4x+6 = - 5x-4x = - 10---Solve for "y":y = - 4x+6

    y = - 4*-10+6

    y = 46

    (2, - 14)

    (-1.11, 10.44)

    (46, - 10)

    (-10, 46)

    Since they are both set equal to y you can set the equations equal to each other

    -4x + 6 = - 5x - 4

    Add 5x

    x + 6 = - 4

    Subtract 6

    x = - 10

    y=-4 (-10) + 6

    y = 46

    (-10,46)
