Line segment GJ is a diameter of circle L. Angle K measures (4x + 6) °. What is the value of x?

    Given that GL is the diameter and K is an angle subtended by the diameter, we conclude that angle K is equal to 90. Therefore having the above information we can formulate the equation below;

    4x+6=90

    to find the value of x we solve the above equation;

    4x+6=90

    subtracting 6 from both sides we get:

    4x+6-6=90-6

    4x=84

    dividing both sides by 4

    (4x) / 4=84/4

    x=21

    there answer is x=21
