The length of one leg of a right triangle is 8 and the length of the hypotenuse is 24. Find the length of the missing leg to the nearest hundredth.

    8^2 + b^2 = 24^2

    64 + b^2 = 576

    -64 - 64

    b^2 = 512

    Take the square root from b^2 and 512 =

    b = 22.627

    Answer 22.63 (rounded up)
