Two trains leave a station in opposite directions. train 1 travels at 27 mph and train 2 travels at 3 mph. when will the trains be 41 miles apart?

    In an hour the distance will be 27+3=30 miles

    27*x+3*x=41

    30*x = 41

    x = 41/30 hours

    x = 1,3 (6) hours
