Marcus, Jonathan and dennis went on a camping trip. Marcus ate 1/4 of thr granola bars, Jonathan att 1/2 of thr granola bars. Dennis ate the remaining 6 bars. How many were in the box to start?

    1/2 is equal to 2/4

    2/4 plus 1/4 is 3/4

    meaning that the remaining is 1/4=6

    so if 1/4 is 6, then we have to multiply 6 by 4

    6*4=24

    There were 24 bars to start with
