How does 5/2 turn into an normal fraction

    The answer is 2 1/2 because 2 goes into 5 2 times thats how u get the whole number and you have one left over and since u never change the denominator it would be 1/2 so 5 1/2

    Well, 5/2 is a fraction but it's improper, which means the numerator (aka top number) is bigger than the denominator (aka bottom number.) so, you have to fix it by doing 5 divided by 2 and get 2 1/2, 2 1/2 is a mixed number.
