A recipe calls for 1/2 teaspoon of salt for the batter and 1/8 teaspoon of salt for the topping. How much salt is used in the entire recipe?

    So basically add 1/2 and 1/8 together

    convert bottom number to same

    1/2 times 4/4=4/8

    add

    4/8+1/8=5/8

    she has 5/8 salt teaspoons
