    You would go ... 12.56 divided by 3.14=diameter

    the diameter is equal to 4. the diameter is two times the diameter though so, all you have to do is divide that by 2. 4 divided by 2=2! your answer is 2

    He missed a step ... I believe ... circumference = 2 (pi) radius ... in this scenario your area is also your circumference
