    h = (24 - 3x - x²) / (2x + 3)

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Surface area:

    2 (x * (x + 3)) + 2 (x) h + 2 (x + 3) h

    2 (x² + 3x) + 2xh + 2 (x + 3) h = 48

    x² + 3x + xh + xh + 3h = 24

    h (2x + 3) = 24 - x² - 3x

    h = (24 - 3x - x²) / (2x + 3)
