force of 50 N is applied to a 100 kg boulder, which starts at rest and moves 5.5 meters accross a level frictionless cliffside that is 12 meters high. How fast is the boulder moving when it leaves the cliff?

    F = m*a = > a = F/m = 50N / 100 kg = 0.5 m/s^2

    Vf^2 = vo^2 + 2gd

    Vf^2 = 0 + 2*9.8m/s^2 * 5.5m = 107.8 m^2 / s^2

    Vf = 10.4 m/s
