grabbing a warm coffee mug to warm your hands

the handle of the pot got to hot while the pot was on the stove

warm water raising to the top of the ocean and cooler water sinking

convection

heat from fire warming your hands

heat from the sun hitting a solar panel

an oven that cooks by cycling warm air from the threw the bottom out the top
